WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GAFFER TAPE & DUCT TAPE?

The main difference between GAFFER TAPE and DUCT TAPE is that Gaffer tape is meant to be used, and then removed, and leaves no residue behind. Duct tape is meant for long term and permanent use (you never plan on removing it) and it almost always leaves a gummy, sticky residue behind. Gaffer tape also has a higher fabric “thread count” than duct tape.
